Kevala Centre courses are distance learning (home study) courses available worldwide. We currently have over 1000 students in all parts of the world training with us.
Originating in the East over a thousand years ago, Indian Head Massage, known as "Champissage", (the Indian word for massage is "champi"), is based on the Ayurvedic system. It is believed to encourage growth and health. The massage goes beyond the limits of healing by dealing with the balance and uniqueness of the individual. This course is ideal for those wishing to practice Indian Head Massage as well as those existing holistic therapists who are looking to broaden their practice. This highly effective therapy offers the maximum benefit with the minimum, of preparation, as the use of oil is not essential and the client remains clothed. Whilst not compulsory, we strongly recommend the students attend a "Tutorial". Either at our Centre or a similar workshop in their own area. Having successfully completed the course the student will have gained sufficient skills to practice as an Indian Head Massage and be entitled to apply for membership of the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists, subject to attending a 2 day tutorial.
